Just imagine if these outtakes made it into EATEOT, the project would've been over seven hours! I love how "I Might Be Vanishing" is a stark contrast from other tracks, being only nine seconds. 913GA

A microcosmic triumph for Ruhe, and perhaps his most poignant work to date! Decaying pianos and tape create a soil so rich, composed of dying leaves and half forgotten memories, frozen over, in waiting for the eventual warm glow of next season's sun. Lost Tribe Sound

I'm reminded of something my grandfather Oscar told me that I never forgot. He said that he thought the cello was the only instrument that sounded the closest to a human heart...breaking. And that holds so true on this record. Thank you Aaron for your beautiful cello, as well as all the other wonderful stringed instruments. If this is the new "electro-acoustic classical" count me on board! bambilyn

Take the shimmering guitars of the Cocteau Twins, dilate and lengthen with the wistfulness of Boards of Canada and release them like one of Robert Rich’s haunting soundscapes with a jazz coda and you have Carlo Giustini's 'Custodi'. It's brilliant. sepulchre19
